The “Ente Turismo Alba Bra Langhe e Roero” is the local Tourist Board of Langhe and Roero territory.

Its associates are about one hundred between private and public ones, among which there are the Piedmont Region, the Cuneo province, the Chamber of Commerce, over fifty Town Administrations of Langhe and Roero, many local tourism operators.

The “Ente Turismo” is based in the heart of the town Alba, right on the Cathedral square, the so-called Piazza Risorgimento, where it has its Tourist Information Office, open to the public: information and assistance to tourists is in fact one of the main activities of the “Ente Turismo”.

On top of this, the “Ente Turismo”plans a series of marketing and promotion activities that can be summarized as follows:
  • publication of guide books, aimed at satisfying a varied demand: accommodation facilities, restaurants, wine tourism, active tourism, cultural tourism
  • organization of press meetings and workshops for tour operators from Italy and from abroad
  • organization of press / tour operator educational tours
  • participation in national and international tourism fairs and workshop
  • promotion of package tours commercialized by local incoming tour operators, specialized on Langhe and Roero region
  • promotion of the land and its services through the website www.langheroero.it, available in Italian, English and German language. On this matter, in different villages throughout Langhe and Roero some computers are connected to this website 24 hours a day and can be used at any time
  • publication of a monthly newsletter listing all the events, festivals, arts exhibitions, theatrical or musical shows in Langhe and Roero – available to tourists in all the main information points in the area and sent by e-mail to all the associates
  • cooperation in promoting relevant events, such as “Vinum” in Alba, “Cheese” in Bra and the National Fair of the White Truffle of Alba.
