Two are the Dolcetto wines of Langa but there is a myth to be debunked: Dolcetto wine, despite the meaning of its name in Italian, is not sweet! Find this out sipping it in the Wine Shops located in Diano and Dogliani. Starting from Alba, the first village you can meet is Diano, borough perched on the top of the hill which offers a 360 degrees panoramic view with the Alps in the background.
The other Dolcetto wine comes from Dogliani, a quiet borough where Mr. Luigi Einaudi, first Italian President, grew up. For the architecture enthusiasts, every building in Dogliani refers to Schellino: have fun looking for its spires and references to the Gothic style around the village.
